Ambassadors
Our Agents of Change for Next Generation Astronauts
Meet the Naut Normal Agents of Change that are empowered with the strength of our mission. They all embody our values and strive to make the universe a better place for all life. With their shared love for space exploration, our ambassadors will help guide next generation astronauts to seek purpose beyond Earth and help make life multiplanetary. Our team believes that some of our ambassadors will be pioneers for the first humans on Mars, or inspiring those who will walk on its rusty surface. As the new space age begins, our ambassadors will help guide future generations to unify around humanity's shared pursuit of exploration and discovery.
What it means to be a
Naut Normal Ambassador
Naut Normal ambassadors are the embodiment of our values. Being a part of this elite team of young professionals means that you aim to inspire and guide future generations towards spaceflight. Each member of this team believes that space exploration can unify humankind and bring forth a better future for everyone. Being an ambassador also means having a passion for education, leveraging your skills and expertise to uplift young students to pursue a career in space.
Being an Agent of Change
An agent of change is someone who sees a problem in their community, large or small, and does something to take action for substantial change. This person is someone who listens to the people in the community where the issue exists and makes sure that they truly understand the root of the problem before implementing a new idea. This person is someone who is willing to take risks and doesn’t always claim to know the answer.
Agents of change are willing to ask hard questions and help find creative solutions. An agent of change has the courage to think outside the box and makes an impact that is greater than themselves.
For Naut Normal, being an agent of change is at the core of who we are. Our nonprofit was built on the idea of solving the space industry's biggest problem:
How do we build a demand for space exploration?
Our Answer:
Start with inspiring our youth! Much is done for space education in primary and higher education; however, secondary education is severely lacking. It is not enough to show or teach students the benefits of space exploration, we must go beyond and show them all the ways to get involved in our unifying endeavors beyond Earth! Young students are eager for opportunities to kickstart their career in the space sector and our goal is to align them with the space-based careers that best fit their passions and skills.
